Hosur Social Worker Receives Tamil Nadu State Youth Award

Miss Gowri Gurunathan, a postgraduate in economics and dedicated social worker from Hosur, who has devoted her life to supporting the education of tribal children, was recently honored by the Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu with the prestigious State Youth Award and a cash prize of ₹1 lakh during the Independence Day celebrations on August 15, 2025.

Following this, she met with Krishnagiri District Collector Mr. S. Dinesh Kumar, IAS, at the District Collectorate Conference Hall on August 18, 2025, where she proudly presented her award and received warm congratulations from the Collector.

Also present on the occasion were District Revenue Officer Mr. A. Sadhanai Kural, District Sports Officer Mr. Rajagopal, and other dignitaries.
