“Education is the greatest weapon for social progress,” says Gauri from Hosur, Krishnagiri. She is a social worker, financial consultant, politician, and entrepreneur. Recently, she received the Best Youth Award from the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for her service.

Through her Anbu Seivom Trust, she runs free learning centers for underprivileged children, focusing especially on tribal villages where education levels are low. At first, parents and children resisted, but with awareness programs and consistent efforts, her team gradually built trust. Today, many children benefit from personalized learning support.

Gauri emphasizes that education must go beyond classrooms, helping first-generation learners overcome challenges. She believes women should achieve financial independence for dignity and equality in society.

She advises students to set clear goals, stay updated in their fields, and adapt to change. For her, true reward lies in seeing children’s lives improve through education.

“Education is an eternal wealth,” she concludes, “the real weapon for life’s progress.”
